9jacodekids Academy provides structured online coding and technology classes for children and teenagers ages 6-16. Through private 1-on-1 classes and progressive group programs, students build confidence, creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
9jacodekids is coding-led, with selected AI-related programs forming part of its broader technology education direction. The Academy has taught 9,000+ students over 10+ years of operations and supports families in Nigeria and the diaspora.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: children should become confident creators with technology, not only passive consumers. We help them learn progressively, build practical projects, and understand how to use technology responsibly.
Meet Our Founder, Ugo Nkwocha
Ugo Nkwocha is a digital entrepreneur, educator, and the founder of 9jacodekids Academy. He founded the Academy in 2016 to help children become confident creators with technology and overcome the fear that coding is too difficult to learn.
As CEO, Ugo has led 9jacodekids Academy in teaching 9,000+ students over 10+ years of operations. His work spans coding education, AI education, online learning, digital entrepreneurship, and the development of practical technology programs for children and teenagers.
Ugo holds a Master’s degree from the University of Portsmouth and is also the founder of Transcend AI Academy and Pro AI Institute. Across his work, his focus remains the same: helping children, families, professionals, and business owners use technology to think, create, solve problems, and build real-world outcomes.
